Who is Natasha?

I am a native of Winston-Salem, raised by my mother (Norma Tanner Smith) and grandmother (Hattie Gray Tanner).

I’ve spent the majority of my life working at the intersection of political organizing, movement building, digital organizing, and fundraising.

I’ve raised millions of dollars online for candidates and campaigns across the United States; mobilized communities in response to draconian legislative action; managed large-scale organic and paid media campaigns to elect progressives; and created digital advocacy campaigns aimed at securing equality and human rights.

I’m passionate about telling the stories of those who have been overlooked for far too long.

I had the honor of being the Director of Supporter Cultivation for the Harris/Walz campaign in 2024.

I spent the 2022 cycle at BerlinRosen as their Vice President of Digital Engagement for Racial Justice and Equity. I had a client roster that included Color Of Change, Higher Heights, The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Black Women’s Leadership Collective, and EndICE.

I spent the 2020 election cycle as a Vice President at Run The World, leading email fundraising for people like Dr. Cameron Webb, Rep. Emilia Sykes, and Rep (now Senator!!!!) Lisa Blunt Rochester.

Currently, I’m the Interim Executive Director at GAIN Power.

If you get an out-of-office reply from me, I’m probably on the taekwondo mat or on the competition West Coast Swing dance floor.
